The concrete delivery pump uses a hydraulic system to generate the necessary pressure and force. Firstly, the concrete mixture is loaded into the hopper of the pump. A piston or a set of pistons within the pumping cylinder then reciprocates back and forth.


When the piston moves backward, it creates a suction effect that draws the concrete from the hopper into the pumping cylinder. As the piston moves forward, it pushes the concrete in the cylinder through the delivery pipe under high pressure.


The movement of the piston is controlled and synchronized by a hydraulic system, which supplies the necessary power and force to ensure the smooth and continuous flow of concrete through the delivery pipe to the desired location on the construction site.


Some advanced concrete delivery pumps also incorporate control systems and sensors to monitor and adjust the pumping parameters such as pressure, flow rate, and stroke length to optimize the pumping process and ensure the quality and efficiency of the concrete placement.
